✅ Indications
Treats infections caused by susceptible bacteria:
- Respiratory: Acute/chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis
- Urinary tract: Cystitis, pyelonephritis

- Others: Typhoid fever, uncomplicated gonorrhea
💊 Dosage & Administration
- Adults & children ≥12 years / >45 kg:
- Standard: 1 capsule (200 mg) every 12 hours
- Or: 2 capsules (400 mg) once daily
- Course: Usually 7–10 days; 14 days for typhoid; do not stop early
- Take: Swallow whole with water, with or without meals
- Children <12: Use oral suspension; capsules not recommended
